What if I cannot receive text messages (SMS) as a result of my default settings?
To authenticate your cell phone, we will send an authentication code to your phone via SMS (short message). If you cannot receive the code even though you have entered the correct phone number, please check 1-4 below to receive the code.
1.Are you using a smartphone with a contract in Japan?
The S.RIDE application cannot be used with phone numbers contracted with some overseas telecommunications carriers.
2.Have you been blocked from receiving SMS?
Please follow the instructions below. If you are using a low-cost SIM, please contact the MVNO with which you have a contract.
If you have blocked the receipt of overseas numbers, please cancel the blocking.

3.Are your SMS notifications turned off? You may not be aware that you have received an SMS, so please follow the steps below to check.
NTT docomo, au, and SoftBank provide "+Message App" (Plus Message App). If the "+Message App" is installed, depending on the model you are using, you may be receiving messages via the "+Message App".

4.(For data-only plans) Are you using an SMS-enabled plan?
SMS may not be available for some data-only plans. Please contact your telecommunications carrier for details.
5.Is mobile Internet communication available?
If you are in Airplane mode, please deactivate Airplane mode and connect to the mobile Internet to see if you can receive the message.
If you are on Wi-Fi, please turn off Wi-Fi and check if you can receive the message via mobile Internet.
