Possible Causes for QR Code Payment (PayPay, d-payment, etc.) Errors

When QR code payments encounter errors, the following reasons may be responsible:

Insufficient Balance
If a QR payment fails due to insufficient balance, please try again using the following steps. In case of insufficient funds, an error screen similar to the one below will be displayed.

Steps to retry QR code payment:
Inform the driver that you want to retry the QR payment due to insufficient balance
Add funds to your QR code payment app
Press the "Close" button on the rear seat tablet
Press "Activate Camera" on the rear seat tablet
Press the "Pay" button in your QR code payment app (e.g., PayPay) to regenerate and display the QR code
Show your QR code to the camera on the rear seat tablet for scanning
The driver will process the QR code payment


Expired QR Code
QR codes displayed in each QR code payment app have a validity period of about 5 minutes from the time they are displayed. Even if an expired QR code is scanned correctly, the payment will be rejected by the QR code payment company. Similarly, QR codes that have been scanned once will also expire, so please regenerate and retry.

Press the "Close" button on the rear seat tablet
Press "Activate Camera" on the rear seat tablet
Press the "Pay" button in your QR code payment app (e.g., PayPay) to regenerate (update) and display the QR code

Exceeded Daily Usage Limit or Amount
Some QR code payment services allow setting daily usage limits or maximum amounts. If you have exceeded these settings for the day, subsequent payments will fail. Please use another method for in-vehicle payment in this case. For changes to usage settings, please contact your QR code payment service provider.


Scanning the S.RIDE WALLET QR Code on the Rear Seat Tablet
QR code payments on S.RIDE's rear seat tablet can be made by pressing "Activate Camera" on the rear seat tablet after arriving at the destination, and then scanning the QR code displayed in your QR code payment app using the tablet's camera. Please note that scanning the QR codes displayed on the rear seat tablet (such as S.RIDE WALLET) with your QR code payment app will not process the payment (an error message like "Invalid QR code" may appear in your payment app).
